On Saturday, October 11 from 5-10 p.m. Downtown Long Beach will roll out the wine barrels, tap kegs of craft beer and fire up some delicious dishes for the 2nd Annual Promenade Beer and Wine Festival, presented by interTrend Communications. Approximately 20 Downtown restaurants will be paired with wineries and breweries to provide tantalizing tastings for guests.
Held on the Downtown Promenade between 1st & 3rd Streets, brew masters, vintners and restaurateurs from across California will converge for an evening celebrating local gastronomy. Zagat-rated restaurants such as The Sky Room and Michael’s Pizzeria will offer samples of their signature dishes, while breweries including Ballast Point and The Bruery, along with Robert Hall and August Ridge wineries will pour libations.
“Last year’s event drew some of the best in the food and beverage industry in California, and we’re taking it to the next level this year,” shared Gabe Gordon, owner of Beachwood BBQ & Brewing and event partner. “Here at Beachwood we can’t wait to welcome the likes of Noble, Pizza Port, and King Harbor to the Downtown Long Beach Promenade for an amazing culinary experience.”
