Chamber of Commerce to Host 3rd Annual State of Trade And Transportation

The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will present The 3rd Annual “State of Trade and Transportation” Luncheon with Congresswoman Janice Hahn, U.S. Representative 44th District, at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach on Friday, February 19 at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Title sponsor for the luncheon is Moffatt & Nichol.
During her luncheon address, Congresswoman Hahn will discuss the many trade and transportation challenges facing the Southland, particularly the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles; the busiest port complexes in the nation.
“The issue of transportation and the well-being of our local ports are important to my district and to my work in Congress,” said Congresswoman Hahn.
Janice Hahn is the U.S. Representative of the 44th district of California. She was elected to Congress in a special election held in July of 2011, and re-elected in November 2012.
Congresswoman Hahn sits on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee as well as the House Small Business Committee. She is a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on the Coast Guard and Marine Transportation, Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, and the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials. She also served on the 2013 Select Panel on 21st Century Freight Transportation.
