“42 – The True Story of An American Legend” This Weeks 100 Days of Summer Movie

To keep the momentum going, half way through the summer on July 19, join us for a free screening of “42 – The True Story of an American Legend” (Pg 13) at Blair Field, 4700 Deukmejian Dr in Recreation Park.
The movie tells the story of Jackie Robinson from his signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers organization in 1945 to his historic 1947 rookie season when he broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball.
The movie begins at Dusk. Doors open at 6 p.m. No outside food. Concessions and stadium seating available. Bring the kids to enjoy a fun Kid’s Zone. No lawn chairs/blankets only.
