5 year-old follows her dream to “go green”

beach-cleanupSave our Beach founder Kim Masoner is helping a 5-year-old girl named Paris “follow her dream of going green by having her own beach cleanup.”

Paris invites locals to come join her family and friends on the shore in Long Beach this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. You can sign up to help Paris follow her dream here.

5-year-old Paris is following her dream of going green by participating in the .  Last month on the way home from work Paris asked her mom if she could get her friends and family together to do a beach clean-up (she loves the beach).

With help from her mom, Paris began getting ready for the One Piece At A Time beach clean up. She’s sending out emails and e-vites to rally other beach lovers to come out on Saturday, November 7.

Look for the blue canopy at 90 Termino Avenue in Long Beach where Termino meets the sand. Pull into parking lot and park, walk to blue canopy to obtain free parking pass and you’re all set!

Save our Beach provides garbage bags, protective gloves, free parking passes and community service certificates for volunteers.
