Suspect Charged in Murder Of Man Found in Motor Home

A 33-year-old Long Beach man was arraigned, Tuesday, in connection with a murder which occurred last year.

On December 6, 2015, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Long Beach Police responded to a parking lot in the 1700 block of Ximeno Avenue where a deceased male adult was found in a motor home. The victim, 62-year-old Gary Rice, was stabbed in the upper body.

Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified a suspect. On February 10, 2016, detectives arrested Justin Michael St. George, in Cypress.

Homicide detectives presented their case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration. On February 16, 2016, Justin Michael St. George was charged with the murder of Gary Rice. He is currently being held in Long Beach City Jail with bail set at $1,040,000.
