On Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM, the El Dorado Neighborhood Library will host an LA Opera Community Educator, who will present a multi-media program about the opera La Bohème.
Our beloved production of a timeless classic, reveling in the cinematic romance of Paris, concludes our mainstage season of masterpieces. Fall in love again with La Bohème’s unforgettable blend of riveting theater and achingly beautiful music as we follow the tale of six impoverished young bohemians, surviving only on laughter and the promise of love.
This presentation is free. Light refreshments will be served and a free opera-related gift will be given out at the end of the presentation. This program is part of the LA Opera Lecture Series, presented by LA Opera’s Community Educators, a team of trained volunteer experts. The LA Opera Lecture Series presents insightful talks on opera’s history, literature, philosophy, and fine arts.
