“Give a Soldier a Night Off” is the theme for the annual Army Birthday Ball on the Queen Mary. An opportunity for local Soldiers to relax, have fun at a formal military gala to celebrate the U.S.Army’s 241st Birthday going back to 14 June 1775.
From the Battlefield to the Ballroom, our Soldiers serve with pride and confident they are part of the greatest Army in the world, whether they are in the active Army, National Guard or Army Reserves. Our warfighters will enjoy a chance to be honored, a chance to be recognized for their service and sacrifice. A chance to take their loved one out for a special evening in a glamorous setting….
Give a Soldier a Night Off gives you an opportunity to make all this possible. Your donation can send a deserving Soldier from the local areas and guest to the biggest Army social event of the year in Southern California. Hosted by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of the US Army in cooperation with Post # 283 of the American Legion, The Army Ball on Saturday, 11th of June aboard the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.
Please consider sponsoring a Soldier or a table of Soldiers. Your contribution will allow all our military guests to enjoy an elegant evening at no cost to them. A great way to say “Thank you for your service” in a meaningful way. The Soldier or Soldiers you will sponsor will be treated to a five-star dinner, entertainment and dancing.
As we honor the 241st Birthday of our great Army, we also honor those who serve it now and those veterans that have served in the past. The pride fills the grand room.
Join us in providing a special thank you to our Soldiers and their loved one. Your donation will provide them with a lifetime of memories.
