Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal and Board of Equalization directors Jerome Horton and Michelle Steel are offering a seminar for businesses in the Long Beach and Signal Hill areas on Friday, July 9th, 2010, from 8 am to 11 am.

The free seminar will focus on strategies designed to help businesses survive in today’s challenging economy.

Speakers will include representatives from:
State Board of Equalization,
Internal Revenue Service,
Franchise Tax Board,
Employment Development Department,
Small Business Administration,
Long Beach Small Business Development Center

The seminar will be held at the Assistance League of Long Beach office at 6220 East Spring St, Long Beach, 90815, and reservations are required. Parking is free, and breakfast will be provided.
