Battleship IOWA and the Port of Los Angeles are proud to announce the launch of their new LA Waterfront Passport Program, just in time for the upcoming summer season. This program allows children and adults alike access to nine attractions in the revitalized San Pedro area, including the historic Battleship IOWA.
Each passport comes with map of the area attractions and discounts to participating restaurants and retailers. A unique stamp from each attraction will be placed in the passport as guests visit. These passports offer a wonderful educational tool and become a special keepsake for the entire family to enjoy.
Participating attractions include:
- Battleship IOWA
- Cabrillo Marine Aquarium
- S.S. Lane Victory
- The Banning Museum
- Drum Barracks Civil War Museum
- Point Fermin Lighthouse
- Fort MacArthur Military Museum
- Los Angeles Maritime Museum
- Los Angeles Maritime Institute
“Anytime is a great time to visit the Los Angeles Waterfront and we are proud to be a contributing part of the area and to spearhead and participate in the unique program,” said Jonathan Williams, President and CEO of the Battleship IOWA. “I cannot think of a better way to spend a day than walking through this revitalized 21st century harbor, exploring the sites, and discovering the rich history that surrounds us.”
Passports are available now and can be purchased at the Battleship IOWA box office or website at www.pacificbattleship.com. Prices are $22 for adults and $16 for children. Passport holders can visit as many sites as they wish and receive a stamp at each participating attraction. Passports must be presented at each attraction for entry and stamp. Lost passports will be replaced upon request, but will not be able to have stamps for past visits.
