The Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine will repair sections of the Shoreline Pedestrian Beach Bike Path beginning Today, Monday, June 20. The work entails replacing a series of broken concrete sections between Granada Avenue and Shoreline Drive. As work progresses on each section, steel plates will enable bicyclists to ride over the effected areas until the project is complete. Repairs are expected to conclude by Friday, June 24.

The Shoreline Pedestrian Beach Bike Path runs 3.1-miles along the coast and was opened in 1988. It also serves as a link to the 29.1-mile Los Angeles River Bikeway.
