Beginning Today Closures Set for Pico Ramps to and from Eastbound Ocean Blvd.

A repaving project near Pier E at the Port of Long Beach will close access between Pico Avenue and eastbound Ocean Boulevard. The closure starts today, Friday, September 9 at 9 a.m. and continues through to Saturday, September 10 at 6 p.m.
Two additional closures will be required for the Pico off-ramp from eastbound Ocean and the on-ramp to eastbound Ocean from Pico in the Port of Long Beach.
The second closure is tentatively set for 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday September 13.
The third closure, for restriping, has not yet been scheduled.
The Port is funding the $200,000 resurfacing project. The Port of Long Beach is committed to keeping Harbor District roadways maintained in good condition and to minimizing the impacts of construction on motorists.
