They were voted number one best overall cupcake by the Orange County Register. I have to say I have tried them all. It is hard to say which is my favorite! The Red Velvet is delicious I had heard about this cupcake and was pleasantly surprised how light it is. During the Thanksgiving they had a pumpkin with or without chocolate chips and a cream cheese butter cream. At Christmas they had a candy cane one. Currently I tried an Irish mint one which was so good! I shop at Bristol Farm's weekly and just love their bakery and the people in the bakery. There is no mention to Bristol Farm’s Cupcakes. It is the best Long Beach has to offer as of Jan 5, 2010. Believe me I know cupcakes coming from a Shore resident Bake and Broil makes the best red velvet cupcakes, from Beverly Hills to New port Beach and we only have to drop into Bixby Knolls to get a great home cooked meal along with a red velvet cupcake and or a home baked cake. I have to say that I’ve tried Sweet Embellishments and was totally underwhelmed. They have all these great evocative names for different flavor combinations, but I found them to be pretty bland all around.
