share this:

firstfridaysThe new year celebrations continue right into First Fridays in Bixby Knolls which means plenty of good food, music, art, strolling, shopping, socializing. Plus, you can bear witness to the crowning of the King & Queen of the 2013 Long Beach Mardi Gras. And you will not want to miss the Spring Street Farm Project’s exhibit at the Expo Arts Center.

All First Fridays Highlights:

8th District Councilmember Al Austin’s “Council on Your Corner” will be set up at Atlantic & Burlinghall to meet and greet attendees.

7th District Councilmember James Johnson’s “First Books at First Fridays” begins at 5:30pm at the Dana Branch Library featuring community leader John Royce as the guest reader.

Stop by BELLA COSA (3803Atlantic) from 6:30pm – 8:00pm to find all the information about First Fridays, maps, business info, and restaurant recommendations.

When the businesses start to close, “FIRST FRIDAYS AFTER HOURS” begins across the district. Nino’s Italian Restaurant, The Factory, EJ Malloy’s, and BIS ITALIAN-AMERICAN SPORTS Café go late into the night with dinner, drinks, music, and community mingling. Why go home early? Stay out and continue the energy.
