California Gardens Master Planning Workshop Set for Saturday, July 21

Once completed, California Gardens will offer 47 acres of recreation space.

The City of Long Beach, Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine invites residents to participate in a morning of vision and design for California Gardens. The master planning workshop for California Gardens will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 9AM.

Councilmember Johnson will greet attendees at the EDCO Building at 2755 California Avenue in Signal Hill. This workshop will focus on planning components at the 47-acre open space site in the middle of Long Beach. 

After a brisk 90-minute walk through the site, residents will return to the EDCO facility to share ideas for the development of the site Master Plan. Please wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, hat and water. Water and light snacks will be provided.
