Celebrate Long Beach Banking & Businesses at multicultural event

banking-and-businessSixth District Councilman Dee Andrews ise co-sponsoring “The Multicultural Recognition Celebration of Long Beach Banking & Businesses” which will honor Union Bank Renaissance’s 5th Anniversary, as well as, various business owners throughout the City of Long Beach.

The public is invited to join in the celebration on Sunday, October 18, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center inside of the Houssel Auditorium at 2801 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, Calif.

Entertainment for the event will be provided by World Class Soprano Singer, Amber Mercomes, The Great Mariachi Azteca and Authentic Cambodian Folk Music.

“It is such an honor to recognize our banking and business leaders who work so hard for our communities. I really appreciate all that they do for our city” said Andrews.

Parking is free in the gated area of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Although this is a free event, guests must RSVP by contacting Union Bank at 562-489-2694 or Operation Hope at 562-218-5011.

The Multicultural celebration is sponsored by Councilman Dee Andrews, in conjunction with Union Bank Renaissance, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center & Miller Children’s Hospital, The Long Beach Central Area Assoc., Connected Corridor, Long Beach Community Foundation, John & James Knight Foundation, and Leadership Long Beach.
