Councilmember O’Donnell Invites Residents to “Chat with Pat” Featuring City Clerk Larry Herrera

On Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in a first for Councilmember Patrick O’Donnell’s “Chat with Pat” community meeting, City Clerk Larry Herrera will be the featured guest speaker at the Fourth District’s Councilmember’s monthly standing meeting for residents of the Fourth District.
“Of all the guest speakers we have had over the past eight years, I realized that we had never had Larry Herrera out to speak to our residents,” O’Donnell said. “It’s my honor and pleasure to welcome the City Clerk to ‘Chat with Pat’ to answer many questions that residents of the Fourth District have about the electoral process in the City of Long Beach.”
The FREE Chat with Pat event featuring Larry Herrera, City Clerk is Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the Los Altos Library, 5614 Britton Dr, Long Beach, 90815.
Residents are encouraged to join Councilmember O’Donnell next week to get answers to any questions they have related to the how elections work in the City and the region. Mr. Herrera is also responsible for maintaining the rules and bylaws that govern procedures during City Council meetings.
Each month, Councilmember O’Donnell hosts “Chat with Pat” meetings to keep residents informed on issues facing the city and what is happening in the district. He is the only Councilmember that holds a standing monthly where residents can share their thoughts and concerns.
