On Friday, October 23, 2015 Christian Outreach in Action is hosting a Fall Fundraiser “Waves of Change” Gala in support of Christian Outreach in Action (COA)’s core programs at the Long Beach Airport Marriot Hotel at 6:00 pm.
Christian Outreach in Action is a non-denominational, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that feeds and clothes the homeless and low income individuals of Long Beach. Over 123,000 meals are served per year, along with over 5,000 grocery bags for low income families, seniors, vets, college students, among others.
COA’s Fall Fundraiser is one of the main sources of income for this local nondenominational 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, allowing it to continue helping those in need. This year’s event will be honoring Tom Croslin with the Heart of Gold Award and Farmers and Merchants Bank with the Community Angel Award. City Councilman Dee Andrews will also be a sharing his moving story. There will be a silent auction, a live auction and dinner. Tickets are $100 per person and $1000 for a table of 10. There will also be an opportunity drawing (1 ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $25) for a chance to win a portable phone charger, an Apple Watch and a FitBit Activity Tracker. Call 562-432-1440 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP.
