Comedian George Lopez Takes Center Stage at the Long Beach Terrace Theater January 25 & 26

george-lopez-terrace-theatreComedian George Lopez, best known for starring in his self-produced ABC sitcom George Lopez, will take center stage at the Terrace Theater on Friday, January 25th, 2013 and Saturday, January 26th, 2013, at 8:00PM. This event is a production of AEG Live.

The multi-talented entertainer is one of the top-five highest grossing comedians in the world and now brings his stand up skills to late-night.  His groundbreaking sitcom George Lopez remains a hit in syndication and helped catapult Nick at Night to one of the top ten cable networks.  His 2009 comedy special George Lopez: Tall, Dark and Chicano was the highest rated stand-up special on HBO in five years and he received the Teen Choice Award for Favorite Comedian.  In 2004, Lopez’s first standup comedy special Why You Crying? was taped live at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach.

Maintaining an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian, Lopez’s shows sell-out coast to coast and continuously break attendance records at major theaters and arenas.

In 2006, Lopez received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition Time magazine named him as one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America, and the Harris Poll named him as one of the Top Ten Favorite Television Personalities. Additionally, Lopez was named by TV Guide as one of the Top 50 Greatest Television Dads of All Time.

Lopez has made more than 200 television comedy, talk show, and hosting appearances, including co-hosting the Emmy Awards and the Latin Grammys.
