Ventriloquist and stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham makes a stop at the Terrace Theater as part of his “Disorderly Conduct” tour on Thursday, May 9th, 2013, at 7:30PM. This event is an Icon Concerts production.
Dunham has made a name for himself by performing colorful and witty shows that poke fun at all cultures and facets of society with the help of his band of sidekicks.
The new tour offers his global fan base a brand new show packed with more laughs than ever before. Dunham’s famed troupe of sidekicks are back: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño, and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.
The phenomenal international success of Dunham and his cohorts had him declared “The most successful comedian working in America,” by The New York Times Magazine, and he was recently named Pollstar’s #1 Comedy Tour in North America for three years running, as well as their Top Worldwide Tour for the third year in a row. In addition, Dunham’s undeniable talent placed him on Forbes magazine’s Celebrity 100 roster of most powerful entertainers for the past four years.
“We are thrilled to have one of America’s favorite comedians perform right here in Long Beach,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for SMG at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “We look forward once again to hosting Jeff and his band of characters at the Terrace Theater,” he concluded.
