Police Foundation to Benefit From Committee of 300 Holiday Fundraiser

The Committee of 300 will hold its annual Charity Fundraising /Christmas Holiday Party on Monday, December 16, 2013, at Gladstone’s Restaurant, 330 South Pine Ave. in downtown Long Beach from 6:00pm until 9:00pm This event is not only a chance for our volunteers & supporters to get together for a celebratory evening, but an opportunity to support our Long Beach Charity for the year. This year, the Committee of 300 is proud to support the Long Beach Police Foundation. The public is invited to share in the festivities.
The Long Beach Police Foundation assists in community outreach programs “Explorer Post 295” open to youths 14-20 and “Shop with a Cop” which helps over 100 economically disadvantaged children. Also, over 200 families benefit from the “Toy Patrol” holiday toy drive and the “Youth Leadership Academy” for at risk youths.
There will be a Silent Auction in which guests can test their silent auction bidding skills, as well as, an opportunity drawing of wonderful items donated by local businesses and organizations. Proceeds from these and a $ 20.00 entrance donation fee will be donated to the charity.
The Committee of 300 Holiday Party Fundraiser in support of the Long Beach Police Foundation is Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Gladstone’s Restaurant, 330 South Pine Avenue, Long Beach, California.
