The Community Hospital Long Beach (CHLB) Foundation invites you to an evening of fun, history, incredible live entertainment and as look into the future as we celebrate the 90th birthday of CHLB.

It all takes place on Saturday, October 25 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. The reception begins at 6 p.m. featuring music by new-on-the-scene jazz vocalist and faculty member at USC Jazz Studies department, Sara Gazarek and a “Behind the Scenes of Long Beach” silent auction. The auction includes: back-door at the Aquarium of the Pacific; lunch and tour of the oil island by OXY; meet the conductor LB Symphony classic performance with dinner; LB Symphony POPS table and food for 10; Boat House on the Bay dinner and Duffy ride; wine tasting PRP, on-air with KKJZ 88.1 Bubba Jackson and more! 

Dinner, live auction and a live performance by The Charles Owen Big Band with legendary blues and jazz vocalist Ernie Andrews, will add to the fun and enjoyment of this 90th birthday party!! The live auction includes: a trip to Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston; tour and 4-nghts in Washington DC; a Holland America cruise; Jacobsen Pilot (also celebrating 90 years) will take 6 in a pilot boat to greet a big ship and bring it into port; Port of Long Beach tour of the Security/LBPD facility with lunch.

Special honorees are the original four Trustees who started the Community Hospital Long Beach Foundation in 1972: Jess Grundy, Jim Gray, Robert Matheny and Vaile “Bud” Young. In 42 years the CHLB Foundation has raised over $33,000,000 to support programs, services and equipment for CHLB.

Sponsorships are available: Platinum $10,000 (table for 10 and full page ad); Gold $7,500 (table of 10 and ¾ page ad); Silver $5,000 (table of 10 and 1/2 page ad); Bronze $2,500 (table of 10 and ¼ page ad).
