Concerts at El Dorado Park Extended Two Additional Weeks

Fifth District Councilwoman Stacy Mungo and Councilman Patrick O’Donnell, will extend the concerts at El Dorado Park two additional weeks, in partnership with We Love Long Beach and sponsors AeroPlex, Laborers’ Local 1309, and MetroPorts.

“One important aspect of a healthy community is the ability for residents, businesses, and neighborhoods to come together in the spirit of togetherness and unity,” said Councilwoman Mungo. “Thanks to the support of our partners at We Love Long Beach, AeroPlex, Laborers’ Local 1309, and MetroPorts, we can extend the extremely successful Concert in the Park series, which draw hundreds of residents to a free, family friendly musical experience.”

The concerts will be held at El Dorado Park at 2700 Studebaker Road and are free to the public. Chairs or blankets are recommended.

The Joneses: Hosted by We Love Long Beach, The Joneses will entertain with 60’s, 70’s, Soul, Country, Blues, Funk, and Folk cover songs and original music. The Joneses are also the house band at Tantalum Restaurant on Saturday nights. Also, we will be joined by special guest Mayor Robert Garcia this evening.

Knyght Ryder: Hosted by We Love Long Beach, the local band Knyght Ryder will rock your favorite, sing-along 80s hits. Last year, families were up out of their chairs dancing together.
