District 5 Councilwoman Stacy Mungo Long Beach Councilwoman Stacy Mungo will join other area elected officials in a special race at the Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival Saturday, July 18, 2015. The race will support Blind Start of America, an award-winning non-profit organization that provides scholarships for blind and visually impaired persons to develop job skills and live independently.

Outgoing Long Beach Police Department East Division Commander Paul LeBaron Long Beach City Councilwoman Suzie Price, Third District, and Councilwoman Stacy Mungo, Fifth District, will be hosting a reception to honor outgoing Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) East Division Commander Paul LeBaron on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Gaslamp Restaurant.
Fifth District Councilwoman Stacy Mungo and Councilman Patrick O’Donnell, will extend the concerts at El Dorado Park two additional weeks, in partnership with We Love Long Beach and sponsors AeroPlex, Laborers’ Local 1309, and MetroPorts.

The annual Library Roundup spare coin drive in support of Long Beach Public Libraries, will kick off at Ruth Bach and El Dorado Neighborhood libraries on Saturday, April 5th from 10 am – 2pm with a special outdoor reception at both branches.
