Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews, in conjunction with the Willie McGinest Long Beach Browns Youth Football Team, proudly presents “Community Fun Day”. The event will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 27th, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, 1950 Lemon Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90806, in the City of Long Beach.

The youth driven event will bring hundreds of football fans from all over Long Beach and Los Angeles County in support of the youth football league. “I invite everyone to come show your support and enjoy a day of complete joy and laughter. We will have plenty of fun things to do for the entire family; arts & crafts; and food”, said Councilman Andrews

The event will include great food, arts & crafts, basketball, domino tournament, face painting, and much more. “Community Fun Day is an opportunity for all to come out to enjoy the fall season with fun and games for everyone in the family. We hope the entire City of Long Beach will join in the festivities with the Long Beach Browns and Councilmember Dee Andrews. We look forward to seeing everyone”, said Willie McGinest, former NFL Superstar and founder Long Beach Browns Youth Football League.

The Long Beach Browns is a Pacific Coast Conference Youth Football team founded by Willie McGinest. The league supports youth ages 5 to 14 years old. The mission of the Long Beach Browns is “to provide the best possible experience for participants, while stressing the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and scholastic achievement’s.
