Councilmember Al Austin invites residents to discuss public safety issues and other concerns at the Eighth District Community Coffee on Saturday, January 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Mirage Coffeehouse, located at 539 E. Bixby Road.

Councilmember Austin will be introducing Commander Robert Luman, the new commander for the Police Department’s North Division, to share his goals and vision for public safety in the area.

“We have a number of exciting new projects getting underway in the Eighth District in the new year. The Community Coffee is a great way for residents to learn what is going on, ask questions, and meet with our new Police Commander,” said Councilmember Austin.

Austin will also be providing an update on news and upcoming events in the Eight District, as well as take questions and concerns on city-related issues.
