Councilmember Suja Lowenthal, Anderson Real Estate Group & Rose Park Neighborhood Association invite residents to a Community Tree Planting Saturday, November 3, 2012. Organizers are seeking volunteers for the tree planting in the Rose Park neighborhood. Together they will plant up to 100 trees to further beautify the streets and improve the quality of life for residents.

The Community Tree Planting is Saturday, November 3, 2012. Volunteers are asked to meet at 9:00 am. at Rose Park (800 Orizaba Ave.). Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Some shovels will be on hand, but due to the amount of trees being planted, participants are encouraged to bring their own.

Students who volunteer can receive credit for community service hours.

Food and drink generously donated by: Portfolio Coffee House
