DanceFest 2010 showcases the best of Homeland Cultural Center

Experience a world of dance with Homeland Cultural Center at DanceFest on Sunday, July 18.
DanceFest is an annual showcase of the diverse performing ensembles currently in residence at the award-winning Homeland Cultural Center.
The free performance, which lasts approximately two hours, will include West Afrikan Drum and Dance Ensemble; Hmong Association of Long Beach; Kutturan Chamoru Performers; Demolition Krew KRUMP; Homeland B-Boys; Ballet Folklorico Maria; Culture Shock LA; Ancient Khmer Martial Arts; belly dancer Tehani; Orlando Greenhill and Sound Army; and DJ Ervin Arana.
Dance Fest begins at 4:00 p.m., at the Center Theater in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.
Tickets for the Homeland Cultural Center’s DanceFest performance will be free to the community, and parking fees at the Performing Arts Center will be reduced by half to just $5. Contact James Ruggirello, Community Services Supervisor, at (562) 570-1655 for tickets and additional information.
