Councilman Dee Andrews Presents Family Free Sunday at MOLAA

molaa Family free Sunday Dee AndrewsThe City of Long Beach and 6th District Councilman is pleased to present the Family Free Sunday, at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), on Sunday, August 15th.

Long Beach residents are invited to join Councilman Dee Andrews for an afternoon of free and activities at MOLAA, featuring art for the whole family and docent led tours of the exhibitions. “One of our Cities greatest assets is the fusion of many cultures. Incorporating art and cultural events like this one is very important to our social awareness”, said Councilman Andrews.

MOLAA is the only museum in the United States exclusively dedicated to the presentation of modern and contemporary art. As such, MOLAA plays a critical role in the vitality of our nation’s cultural landscape, serving the significant and fast growing Latino population.

The Family Free Sunday event is Sunday, August 15th2010, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the , 628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, 90802.
