Don’t Embarrass Yourself in Print: Tips from a Professional Book Editor

The California Writers Club of Long Beach will host Barbara Ardinger, Ph.D. with a presentation called “Don’t Embarrass Yourself in Print: Tips from a Professional Book Editor,” on Tuesday, March 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Los Altos Branch of the Long Beach Public Library, 5614 Britton Drive. Published and aspiring writers of all genres are welcome to attend.
To date, Ardinger has edited more than 200 books. Her clients include published authors, would-be and wannabe authors, graduate students, and professionals in many fields. She is the “Go-to” editor for two small on-demand publishers and the American Holistic Health Association.
Projects include fiction, nonfiction, and academic manuscripts, all on a wide variety of topics. Ardinger, who received her Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, is also the author of five books, including Pagan Everyday.
The free monthly meetings of the California Writers Club of Long Beach are held at the Los Altos Branch Library from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to the public.
