DSB delivers the nostalgic concert experience to keep music lovers believin’ in 100 Days of Summer final concert.

Celebrate the end of a great “100 Days of Summer” season with a free concert by one of the best Journey Tribute Bands around, DSB (Don’t Stop Believin’), on Friday, August 30, at 6 pm, at Blair Field, 4700 Deukmejian Dr. in Long Beach.

“This free concert will be a great way to celebrate another wonderful Long Beach summer and all the exciting events throughout our entire city,” Mayor Bob Foster said.

Doors open at 4 pm for concertgoers to enjoy bouncers, face painting, fun leading up to the DSB performance at 6 pm. DSB delivers the nostalgic concert experience that will keep you believin’ by capturing the lush and signature sound of renowned vocalist Steve Perry and the band Journey in their prime.  Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on. No lawn chairs are allowed on the field. No outside food or drink is allowed. Stadium seating and concessions will be available.

100 Days of Summer was promoted by Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine and the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau to encourage residents to “stay and play” in Long Beach.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, thousands of residents and visitors will have attended hundreds of free concerts and movies, Long Beach Sea Festival events, programs at El Dorado Nature Center, Rancho Los Cerritos and Rancho Los Alamitos historic sites, and spontaneous fun like biking, golf, tennis, kayaking, swimming, and youth and teen programs, plus more than 500 classes in the arts, sports, music and more.
