Long Beach City Prosecutor Doug Haubert

Join your 7th District Councilmember on Friday, May 4th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM for First Books at First Fridays, a monthly event held at Dana Branch Library as part of First Fridays.

First Books is a family friendly event where Councilmember James Johnson and his guests read their favorite children’s books. This month’s guest reader is Long Beach City Prosecutor Doug Haubert. Safe Moves, a non-profit organization, will also be hosting a “Bike Rodeo” for children to lean about traffic safety as they ride bicycles through an obstacle course.

Take advantage of the Library’s special late hours for another fun-filled evening at the Dana Branch Library. Bring the whole family as we promote literacy in the 7th District and the City of Long Beach.
