Early Morning Shooting Leaves One Dead

On Saturday, October 31, 2015, about 3:26 a.m., Long Beach Police responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Olive Avenue, which resulted in the death of a male adult.

When officers arrived, they discovered a male adult who had been struck by gunfire. Long Beach Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim, in critical condition, to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

A motive for the shooting is unknown and the investigation remains ongoing.
