East Village Residents and Business Owners Encouraged to Vote For EVA Board of Directors

The nomination period for the Downtown Long Beach’s East Village Association (EVA) Board of Directors closed on March 26, 2015. The list of nominees and their statements are now posted on the EVA website.

The election will be held at the EVA Quarterly Forum on April 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the ArtExchange, 356 East 3rd Street, Downtown Long Beach. New board members will be announced that evening.

To be eligible to vote, one must be a resident or business owner within the East Village boundaries: East side of Long Beach Boulevard to West side of Alamitos Avenue to South side of 10th Street to North side of Ocean Boulevard. Quadrant dividing lines are 4th Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Voters must show ID and proof of residency or business ownership with their voting neighborhood quadrant. If eligible to vote in more than one quadrant, the person must choose one quadrant. Each quadrant will have a separate ballot. Each quadrant will vote for its own business and resident representatives and the Executive Committee positions.
