Volunteers of all ages and sizes are needed on Saturday, February 13 from 9 a.m. until noon to help make the lake in El Dorado Park Area III litter free.
Join the 5th District Lakes, Ponds and Wetlands Taskforce for an El Dorado Park Lake Clean Up Day. Organizers will provide gloves and trash bags to assist with removing litter, fishing line and tackle from around the lake.
Volunteers will meet inside of the entrance at El Dorado Park off Wardlow Road.
Please volunteer and invite your family and friends to help educate people about the importance of our lakes, ponds and wetlands and what actions that they can take to make these bodies of water clean and safe.
To Volunteer, contact the Office of Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske by calling (562) 570-6932 or email [email protected]
The lakes at El Dorado Regional Park are stocked by the California Department of Fish and Game. The fish (catfish and trout) are bred and raised at hatcheries and planted in rural and urban lakes in support of, and to promote, freshwater fishing
