The 7th District includes California Heights, Bixby Highlands, the Wrigley area, and a portion of west Long Beach.  The District comprises 25,281 registered voters.  Voter turnout is projected to be in the range of 22% to 27%; and more than 50% of the ballots are projected to be voted-by-mail.

Upon completion of the post-Election Day canvass, the elected candidate will take office on July 20, 2010.
