En La Noche - Los Pinguos

The Argentinean band Los Pinguos will play at MOLAA for En La Noche.

En La Noche continues to bring music, art and dance to Long Beach in April. This month MOLAA’s popular culture event will celebrate the museum’s Project Room exhibition Integral Geometrics by Argentinean artist Marta Chilindron.

There will be live music all night. First, enjoy the curated sounds of DJ Cornejo from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Then, at 8:00 p.m, Los Pinguos takes the stage. This band came to the United States from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a mixture of Latin rhythms, reggae, rumba flamenca and rock. They have performed worldwide and have a legion of fans.

Enjoy a self-guided tour of exhibitions, complimentary tequila tasting courtesy of Tequila Herradura and purchase food from gourmet food trucks like Sliced & Diced Eatery and more! Mixes by resident MOLAA DJ, DJ Cornejo and Los Pinguos live!

For the third time, Councilmember Suja Lowenthal has teamed up with the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) to offer Second District Residents FREE admission for next Thursday’s April 18th En La Noche event. In order to receive free tickets, residents must RSVP by emailing rsvp@molaa.org with the subject live “2nd District.”

En La Noche is also free for MOLAA members; non-members cost $15. This event is for ages 18+ only.

En La Noche is also sponsored in part by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Los Angeles.
