Entrepreneurial moms get a place to network in Long Beach

Mompreneurs Live! – a Local Networking Group for Entrepreneurial Moms is forming a chapter in Long Beach.

“This will give savvy and driven entrepreneurial moms in Long Beach and surrounding areas the opportunity to support and connect with other like-minded moms and share resources throughout our own neighborhood,” said Jennifer Griner, Long Beach Chapter Leader, mother of two young kids and owner of a number of businesses to include, Sweet Success Business Services.  “I am extremely excited and honored to bring this dynamic networking opportunity to my beautiful hometown of Long Beach, California.

Are you an entrepreneurial mom who runs a business or is thinking of starting one?  Wherever you set up your office or shop – at home or offsite – you will face the same work-family challenges and feelings of isolation as other mom business owners. Today’s high tech world enables women to share their common concerns through blogs, social media sites, online forums and other Web-based communities.  But nothing beats face-to-face interaction!

That’s why Mompreneurs Live! began.  As authors of the Mompreneurs series of books and founders of Mompreneurs, LLC, a work-from-home consulting firm, Pat Cobe and Ellen Parlapiano have been bringing entrepreneurial mothers together for more than 10 years, both online and off.  Through their forums on MompreneursOnline.com, moms share valuable tips, provide feedback on business ideas, offer support and advice for juggling work and family, and much, much more.

But, increasingly, the demand for local networking groups for moms to meet in person on a regular basis has grown. They’ve hosted several of these get-togethers in cities around the country, including Chicago, New York and Phoenix.  The energy and enthusiasm has been so incredible!  The demand is quickly growing!

Jennifer Griner is inviting all local women to be part of the launch event for entrepreneurial moms in Long Beach. The Mompreneurs Live!
