LB Police Foundation plans farewell dinner for Chief Anthony Batts

On Friday, October 16, 2009, the Long Beach Police Foundation (LBPF) will be hosting a farewell celebration in honor of Long Beach Police Chief Anthony W. Batts at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the community is welcome to attend.
After 27 years of dedicated service to the Long Beach Police Department and the City of Long Beach, Police Chief Anthony W. Batts has accepted the position of Chief of Police for the Oakland Police Department.
The farewell dinner celebration will take place Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Aquarium of the Pacific, 100 Aquarium Way. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $75 per person or $750 per table (10 seats per table). Preferred seating can be reserved by ordering a “Partnership Table” for $1,000 (and a $250.00 charitable contribution to support the LBPF). Reserved seating will be accommodated for full-table purchases only
