FC Long Beach: Winter Soccer Academy starts January 8

FC Long Beach Academy will provide USSF Nationally-licensed club trainers to work with youth players once a week for a 10-week period beginning January 8 in Heartwell Park Field #1, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The academy is for boys and girls ages 5-12.

The winter soccer academy will enforce a strict trainer to player ratio to enhance the instruction and attention available to each participant. Trainers will follow a weekly course curriculum that focuses on skills and technique. Academy members will receive a full training kit, a written player evaluation, and fitness training.

The cost for the academy is now reduced to $65 for Long Beach Youth Soccer Organization players and $85 for all others. For more information, contact the academy co-ordinator at: [email protected] or call call 562-688-2987.
