Long Beach residents can learn how federal Housing and Urban Development money is spent in their neighborhood by attending the Anaheim Street Community Police Center’s monthly meeting tonight, Tuesday, May 18, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the Mark Twain Neighborhood Library Community Room, 1401 E. With support from the Community Development Advisory Commission, and using $9,000,000 annually in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, the Bureau offers a variety of tools to improve Long Beach neighborhoods.
