It has been 10 years since Fern’s Garden opened the doors at its location at 5308 E. 2nd Street in Belmont Shore in August of 2004.  To celebrate the occasion, owner Fern Solomon has declared Saturday, October 25 to be “Customer Appreciation Day.”

“We give thanks for the support of our loyal customers and the community that we have had the honor of serving for ten years in Belmont Shore,” said Fern. “We survived the Great Recession and in fact have just renewed our lease for another five years,” she added.  “We know our customers appreciate our American and ethically made gift offerings, and we just want to something to them as our way of saying thanks.”

A party is being planned including lots of perks and prizes, such as a free gift for everyone who sets foot in the store that day, free Golden Tattoos, free appetizers and beverages, a $10 gift coupon with every purchase, hourly raffles and a grand prize raffle to give away a prize worth over $150. Live music performed by Angie Tabor of Caribe Steel Band will also be presented.

The celebration is open to all and will take place from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 5308 E. 2nd Street (near Glendora) on October 25; call Fern’s Garden at 562-434-6425 for more information.
