First Step Fitness will host a unique grand opening tomorrow, Thursday, January 27. The personal-training gym is inviting the public to come experience “Sweat Networking,” a dynamic networking event for business owners and professionals that incorporates a physical workout.

The “Sweat Networking” workout will be led by First Step Fitness Owners, Mike and Amanda Matuz, experienced personal trainers who have national accreditations in health, fitness and nutrition.

The Matuz’s explained that they are opening First Step Fitness in Long Beach to provide clients with a positive and productive fitness experience. It’s their goal, the couple said in a recent press release, to groom clients to not just be in great athletic shape, but to help them build their business and business network.

During the workout, individuals will be randomly paired with other attendees to network in a non-traditional atmosphere while getting to know each other through a workout session.

The training session will begin at 5:30pm and will be customized depending on each individual’s personal level of fitness. During the workout, a live DJ will be spinning Top-40 hits to motivate and entertain.

The First Step Fitness Grand Opening is Thursday, January 27th from 5pm to 7pm at First Step Fitness 1335 Loma Avenue, Long Beach, CA, 90804. Parking is available in the front lot, on the street or the North lot at 1347 Loma Ave, Long Beach.

To RSVP for the “Sweat Networking” event call Mike Matuz at 949-903-5487. Attendees should plan on wearing athletic clothing and either cross-trainers or running shoes.

In addition to the “Sweat Networking” workout, local Long Beach vendors will be on site providing sample products and services such as chiropractors, massage therapists, screen-printing and nutritional supplement distributors.
