Celebrate Father’s Day with something Dad will really enjoy: live music at The Found Theatre.
The Found kicks off its new Live & Laid-Back Sunday Music Series with Second Wind, a Long Beach-based band consisting of Marc and Pattie Davidson and David Noferi. Together, they create a unique blend of music that includes folk, pop and country classics, standards, international, bluegrass, and original music…or, as their tagline says, “Songs Your Mother Should Know.”
It’s Father’s Day, so bring your dad, husband, brother, or other man in your life and receive a complimentary drink for each of you. The show is suited for all ages and tickets are just $10. Date & Time: Sunday, June 21, 7 p.m. Tickets cost $10.
The Found Theatre, 599 Long Beach Boulevard., Long Beach, CA 90802. Free parking in the CityPlace lot across Long Beach Boulevard next to CVS Pharmacy. Save gas: The Metro Blue Line 5th St. Station and a Passport Shuttle stop are located directly in front of the theatre.
Make an evening of it! Treat Dad to gourmet food at coffee shop prices! Bouchees Bistro, our closest neighbor at 515 Long Beach Blvd., will be serving a Father’s Day Special (angus prime rib dinner with baked potato, sauteed vegetable medley, red wine jus and horseradish creme fraiche), plus the rest of its wonderful menu: gourmet burgers (including veggie), great soups and salads, unbelievable sweet potato fries, and more. And it’s just steps from the theatre, so park free in the CityPlace lot and walk to both venues. Reservations suggested; call (562) 951-8222.
