Found Theatre Film Festival
2009-09-17 · By Editor
See your favorite Found Productions on the big screen at the Second Occasional Found Theatre Film Festival. There just two weekends left to see the wacky Found shows you might have missed…or just want to see again!
To celebrate the Found’s 35th Anniversary, the theatre group is dedicating the month of September to filmed “Found Classics” created by videographer Mike Brown of Back of the Mind Productions.
Each Saturday night the screen will come alive with a different program, including hilarious shorts, live guests and surprises. Come revive some fond memories, munch popcorn, and laugh with like-minded friends.
This weekend, Saturday, September 19, the festival will screen Donner Party: The Musical.
Staged live at The Found in 2000, this is the show that wouldn’t die! Owing to overwhelming popularity (and controversy), they had to keep adding new performance dates.
The film festival continues Saturdays September 19 and 26 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets cost $10. For reservations call 562-433-3363 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The Found Theatre is located at 599 Long Beach Boulevard (corner of 6th Street), Long Beach. Free parking in the CityPlace lot near CVS Pharmacy or take The Metro Blue Line to the 5th Street station. The Downtown Passport bus stop is also located directly in front of the theatre.
