Four Suspects Arrested For April Murder

Long Beach Police arrested four suspects in connection with a murder that occurred on April 4, 2015, in North Long Beach.
On Saturday, April 4, 2015, at approximately 10:53 p.m., Long Beach Police responded to the 2700 block of East South Street and discovered a male adult, later identified as 47-year-old Lawrence Lee Casados, down on the street with a gunshot wound. Long Beach Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
On April 23, 2015, detectives arrested 29-year old Derrick Kujuan Murphy of Palmdale, in Palmdale. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged Murphy with murder, gang allegation, and personal use of a firearm.
On April 28, 2015, detectives arrested 26-year-old Murray Terry McCrea of Victorville, in Victorville. Donte Dumount Lee, 28-years-old of Apple Valley, was arrested in Apple Valley. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged McCrea with murder, gang allegation, and ex-felon with a gun. Lee was charged as an accessory after the fact.
On April 30, 2015, detectives arrested 28-year-old Dominic Jermaine Dixon of Downey, in Compton. On May 4, 2015, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged Dixon with murder, gang allegation, and personal use of a firearm.
All four are being held at the Los Angeles County Jail. Lee is being held on $500,000 bail; the other three are being held on $2,000,000 bail.
