Fuego at Hotel Maya will present an Independence Day Barbeque Dinner that is sure to sizzle with great food and bright lights on Wednesday, July 4 from 6-9 p.m. Hotel Maya will also celebrate America’s birthday with live Latin Jazz in Fuego from 6-10 p.m. and live steel drum music in the pool area from 1-6 p.m.
Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge at Hotel Maya, offers a unique setting at the water’s edge featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio. Fuego’s stunning seaside setting is just right to enjoy the Queen Mary fireworks show, rounding out an evening of patriotic activities and summer fun.

Fuego Executive Chef Victor Juarez serves-up a red-hot Independence Day barbeque menu featuring the Fuego Barbecue Station with holiday favorites including Barbecue Pork and Beef Ribs, Angus Sliders, Pulled Pork Sliders, Seafood Kabob, Roasted Corn on the Cobb, Honey Baked Beans, and Macaroni and Cheese.
Fourth of July Entrées Specialties include Smoked Tri Tip, Grilled Snapper Vera Cruz, Fried Chicken, Baked Almandine Green Beans with Fried Onions, and Scallop Potatoes, and Chili Wedges of Yukon Potatoes.
Fuego’s Carving Station features Roasted Prime Rib with au jus and horseradish. In addition, the Fuego Seafood Station features Peel and Eat Shrimp, and Assorted Ceviches.
Fuego Taco Station includes Beef, Chicken and Fish Tacos with roasted pepper salsa, guacamole, tomatillo salsa, cabbage slaw, and crispy tortilla.
Guests will also enjoy a Fuego specialty Soup featuring Texan Chili Beef with Jalapeno Cheese Corn Muffins.
An assortment of Salads will be presented including Baby Mix Greens with a variety of dressings, Traditional Caesar Salad, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Summer Tomato Salad, and Cilantro Pepper Corn Salad.
The Fuego Dessert Extravaganza Buffet offers Apple, Cherry, Pecan and Chocolate Pies; Warm Fruit Cobbler; Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce; Mexican Flan; Fruit Parfait; Crème Brûlée; Chocolate Mousse;Assorted Cupcakes; and Brownies.
The Fourth of July dinner celebration also includes complimentary Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Tea, Juice and Soft Drinks.
Fuego Independence Day Barbecue Dinner costs $75 per adult and children, 13 and older; and $37.50 children, 12 and under; plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
