Fuego Plans Special Prix Fixe Menu For Thanksgiving

Families can enjoy their Thanksgiving feast in Fuego at Hotel Maya with its delicious three-course, prix fixe menu on Thursday, November 27 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.
“Fuego is presenting a holiday menu full of family-favorite dishes as we celebrate the Thanksgiving Day holiday,” said Kristi Allen, General Manager at Hotel Maya – a DoubleTree by Hilton. “Families can enjoy their Thanksgiving meal on the beautiful waterfront patio followed by a stroll on the grounds or relaxing beside a tranquil waterfall or sitting near the fire pits at Playa at the Maya, downtown Long Beach’s only seaside beach.”
Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious Fuego Thanksgiving Day meal that begins with a selection of Roasted Butternut Bisque with creamy corn and candied walnuts; Kale & Berry Salad with pickled onion, arugula, strawberries, candied pumpkin seeds, and raspberry vinaigrette; or Mixed Baby Lettuce with Fuji Apples including cilantro, chili dusted pecans, goat cheese, grape tomatoes, and creamy chipotle dressing.
Thanksgiving Day Entrees feature a choice of Roasted Turkey with giblets gravy, roasted Brussels sprouts, corn bread stuffing, piloncillo cinnamon glazed yams and Yukon mashed potatoes; Prime Rib of Beef with a 12-ounce cut of slow-roasted prime rib, sweet garlic demi glace, horseradish cream sauce, Yukon mashed potatoes, cippolini onions and braised Brussels sprouts; Verbena Poached Fillet of Salmon with cranberry and passion fruit compote, lemon buerre blanc, Orzotto pasta, arugula, shiitake mushrooms and roasted tomatoes; or Potato Lasagna with layers of thinly sliced potato with wilted spinach, forest mushrooms, roasted red bell pepper, and cauliflower and red pepper coriander sauce.
Fuego Holiday Desserts include a selection of scrumptious Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Torte with vanilla cream sauce and berries or mouthwatering Marshmallow Pumpkin Cake with pumpkin cinnamon purée and roasted marshmallows.
Thanksgiving Day guests will also enjoy complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.
Fuego’s Thanksgiving Day three-course, prix fixe menu costs $48.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
