Fuego embraces moms on their special day with a delicious Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch accompanied by delightful sounds of live Latin jazz, all set to spectacular views of the downtown skyline, Queen Mary and Pacific Ocean on Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge at Hotel Maya, offers a unique setting at the water’s edge featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area.

Executive Chef Victor Juarez has lovingly prepared a Mother’s Day Brunch that his own mother would be proud of featuring Salads including Mixed Greens & Herb Salad with mixed greens, tomato, red onion, goat cheese, red chili pecans, raspberries and assorted dressings; Soba Noodle Salad with green papaya, vegetables, cashews, rice noodle and ginger soy dressing; Hearts of Palm Salad with field greens, peppers and lemon vinaigrette; Roasted Beet Salad with pepper escabeche, cotija, and pepitas; Waldorf Salad a classic version with apples, grapes, celery and walnuts; and Spring Kale & Fruit Salad.
Platters and Displays feature Fuego’s ever-popular Lobster Bisque; Ceviche featuring scallops, mahi-mahi and steamed shrimp; Antipasto with roasted vegetables, olives, artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes; Caprese Display with heirloom tomatoes, Buffalo mozzarella, basil and balsamic reduction; Smoked Salmon with mini bagels and traditional condiments; Chilled Seafood with shrimp, crab claws, oysters and marinated mussels; Classic Cheeses and Charcuterie Station; and Exotic Fresh Fruit, Melon and Seasonal Berries.
The Mother’s Day Omelet Station presents Omelets made to order with an assortment of vegetables, meats and cheeses, along with Eggs Benedict, smoked bacon, chicken apple sausage, blackberry crepes and breakfast potatoes.
The Fuego Carving Station offers delicious Prime Rib with cream horseradish and au jus.
Fuego Mother’s Day Brunch features a Hot Entrée, ordered from the server, and includes Cochinita Pibil Braised Pork with achiote, citrus juice and pasilla tomato sauce; Grilled Lamb Chops with herb cous cous and red chimichurri; Seared Salmon with harisa and candied raisins; Roasted Chicken with artichoke, pepper and Spanish olives; Wild Mushroom Ravioli with roasted garlic cream sauce; and rainbow fingerling potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Tasty Desserts and Bread include an assortment of breads, rolls, croissants, Danish, lavash and bread sticks; along with cakes, tortes, pies, mousse, tarts, cookies and petit fours.

Fuego’s Mother’s Day Brunch costs $64.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $32.00 for children, 12 and under; Free for children 5 and under; plus tax and gratuity.
