Fuego’s Latin Brunch Series Serving Up a Taste of Peru

Fuego’s Latin America culinary tour continues to Peru in September as Executive Chef Victor Juarez presents the next Latin Brunch Series on Sunday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A special Peruvian musical performance by Nocy Karkour and the Sounds of Peru will be featured during the culinary tour stop.
Fuego is also offering Peruvian food and drink specials daily throughout September with delicious Choros (mussels Callao-style), Lomo Saltado and Arroz con Leche along with refreshing adult beverages including the Peruvian Kiss.
The Latin America culinary tour continues to Chile on October 20, Nicaragua on November 10, and Venezuela on December 15. To date, Fuego’s Latin America culinary tour has visited Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Columbia, Guatemala, Argentina, Cuba and Brazil in January through August respectively.

Executive Chef Juarez’s Peruvian menu begins with the Chef’s Salads including Quinoa with dried fruit and walnut dressing, Ensalada Russa (beet and potato salad) Hearts of Palm salad, Tiradito de Albacore, Sweet Potato salad, Pappa a la Huancaïna, Antipasto, domestic and imported cheeses, and sliced fresh fruits.
Peruvian Ceviches and Aperitivos include Salmon, Halibut with Rocoto Ponzu, Ceviche Mixto, Choritos a la Chalaca (mussels Callao-style), Yucca Frita with Huancaïna sauce, and fresh homemade salsas.
The Peru brunch entrée is a la carte, ordered through the server and costs $43.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $21.50 for children, 12 and under; plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
