Goodwill and Dirtbags team up for season promotion.

Goodwill, Serving the People of Southern Los Angeles County (Goodwill SOLAC) and Long Beach State Athletics announce their partnership where fans in February can enjoy their favorite pastime and help their community.

Bill Brady, Senior Associate Athletic Director said, “This partnership is a great way for the Athletics Department and Goodwill SOLAC to work together to highlight the important work Goodwill does in Southern Los Angeles County. It will result in educating Long Beach State students and fans on how they can make a positive impact in their community through their donations of ‘gently’ used clothing and other household goods at Goodwill SOLAC’s stores and donation centers.”

Long Beach State baseball fans will have an opportunity to receive a voucher good for two free tickets to an upcoming Long Beach State Dirtbags game just by making a donation at a Goodwill SOLAC store or donation center in Long Beach.

“We’re excited about this promotion and for the opportunity to help even more members of our community receive job training. Your donations help put people to work and we thank you,” said Julie Dover, Director of Commercial Operations, Goodwill SOLAC.

Bring a donation to any of the following Goodwill SOLAC locations through the end of February to receive a voucher for two tickets to an upcoming Dirtbags game in February or March. To receive the tickets, vouchers can be redeemed at the box office at Blair Field or at Walter Pyramid. There is a one voucher per visit limit, though donors will receive a donation tax receipt.
